LED Banner

Terms of Use

Last updated: 20 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of LED Banner (the "app"), published by DF Dev Apps (Diego Ferreira) ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. Your use of the app is also governed by the Google Play Terms of Service; where they conflict, Google Play's terms apply to the extent the law requires.

1. What the app does

The app shows your text as a scrolling, LED-style banner on your screen, and can export it as an animated GIF or a video that you can share or save.

2. Using the app safely

3. Your content

You are responsible for the text you display, export or share with the app, and for having the right to use it. Don't use the app to display or share anything unlawful, hateful or that infringes other people's rights. Your banners stay on your device; we do not review or store them.

4. Accuracy and availability

We work hard to keep the app reliable, but we can't guarantee that it will always work without errors or interruptions, or that exports will play in every app or on every device.

5. Using the app

You may use the app for personal or business purposes, including showing banners in public, in shops and at events, and sharing the GIFs and videos you make. You agree not to misuse the app, for example by attempting to interfere with its operation or by copying, modifying or redistributing it except as the law allows.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its design and its content belong to us. The text you write and the files you export are yours. The fonts bundled with the app are licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1; their notices are in the app under About > Open-source licenses.

7. Third-party services

The app relies on Google services: Google Play (distribution and in-app ratings) and Google Firebase (usage statistics, crash reports, performance measurements, the feedback service and this website). How they handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes and availability

The app is currently free and has no advertising. We may change, suspend or discontinue it, or any feature, at any time. Future versions may include advertising or optional paid features; if so, we will update these terms and the privacy policy beforehand.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent the law permits, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app or the content you display or share with it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Irish law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
